The weather is so beautiful today, and yesterday. We ate out on the porch for lunch yesterday and it was a touch chilly, but still so fresh and wonderful. See that beautiful bench? We bought it from our neighbours at our own garage sale because it's stunning and I love it so much. It needs a little love, but I think we'll enjoy loving it.
The boys and I spent the morning over at the neighbours place playing with their little girls and messing up their house. The kids like to go down into the basement and be crazy while we have tea upstairs usually. This time Jadyn came running upstairs frantically, saying "Theodore is somewhere he isn't supposed to be, drinking something he isn't supposed to drink." Seems a little early for that to me, doesn't it? All was well though, of course. It was actually a successful morning (complete with Alyssa's chicken pot pie for lunch which I simply can not say no to.)
Our little seedlings are starting to sprout which means Matt is going to have to help me fashion some kind of contraption so we can put them by the sunny window without the kids getting at them. I am so excited to watch my little plant babies grow, it's so fulfilling and magical. The world really is magical, and filled with so many beautiful, wholesome things everywhere you look. And Spring is one of the most magical seasons of all because it brings so much hope, and newness, and beauty, and promise for an even more beautiful tomorrow.
