Hello blessed day! Today is a day for conquering our fears, settling our noisy minds, and breathing in the goodness of the universe and the smell of dirt! Oliver has been really enjoying the planting/watering process around here lately, and wants to be as involved and independent as possible with everything. He's such a little nature boy, with such a gentle soul. Though while I was taking this photo he did completely flood the parsley, so. We're learning.
Yesterday evening I got to go out for dinner, shopping, cheesecake and lattes with two sweet wonderful girlfriends and it was fantastic. Good pizza, good conversation, and of course little Simon (Alyssa's babe) tagged along too, which is completely allowed since he's too adorable for words.
I got a call from a doctor's office this morning regarding some bloodwork results that came back (finally!) Apparently this test takes a very very long time, but they have the results and want me to come in to talk about them. They said it was regarding my Vitamin D, which I'm assuming is very low to require such a formal intervention. When I Googled it, the internet told me that a vitamin D deficiency, if severe enough, can cause all kinds of strange health problems. Wouldn't that be something. If it turned out to be that all along. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be kind of a kick in the pants. Time to get more sunshine (beach day?)
