Insta Saturday // Week in Review

This week was filled with enjoying the outdoors, in spite of the fact that Winter reared its ugly head once again.

- On Monday I went in for my ultrasound, and took a selfie with my ovaries. Because if the tech leaves the room, and leaves the image up on the screen, you can't not take a selfie with your ovaries.

- We went for plenty of walks, and visited our neighbours for some back yard play time, and a memorable mud fiasco.

- We did some goose spotting, and yard planning, despite the fact that we couldn't really put any of our plans into action.

- It snowed and snowed and snowed.

- I made some delicious low-calorie brownies with Greek yogurt, and they turned out great!

- I made my blog "public" which actually means that I shared it with the people that I actually know. I challenged myself, and stepped outside my comfort zone, and everything turned out fine in the end. Nobody died.

- I took the kiddos to the McDonalds playplace in the city while Matt was at his counseling session, and Oliver could hardly contain his excitement.

- Matt got a holiday from work on Friday, and we spent the entire day relaxing, watching Downton Abbey, and going for a lovely stroll around the block.

Overall, this week wasn't too eventful, but it was filled with fresh air and the hope for new beginnings and growth, and brighter days. Though it is still very cold outside, I feel renewed and ready for what the new week will bring.
