It's remarkable how much fun two little boys can have with a wood plank. They are so so funny, Oliver still sports his snake-turned-dinosaur tail around his waist most of the day, and steals apples from the fridge, leaving the leftovers around for Theodore to scavenge. I just love this photo, it captures their crazy midday shenanigans and personalities so very well.

I got to snuggle our neighbours' baby Simon some more yesterday afternoon while our kiddos played together, and he's growing and changing so much. Every time I see him it's like he's a different baby. I always forget how quickly they evolve in that first couple of months, though thank goodness for it. Theodore was one of the funniest lookin' newborn babies around and he turned out to be pretty out-of-this-world adorable.

I'm having a tough day, emotionally. Yesterday too. For no particular reason except perhaps that I have some more emotional house cleaning to do. On days like today I don't really feel like blogging, or spending any time communicating with the outside world at all. But it's days like today that it's most important to take time for myself, and time to reach out. I force myself to blog when I don't want to because I know it's good for me, and that if an entire day goes by without it, I'll go to bed feeling overwhelmed and empty and not quite know where to place it. So here I am. Rambling about nothing because it's what I need to do. Thanks for listening. :)
