Our family is complete, and my heart is overflowing. Our beautiful girl, Penelope Wilde, was born on January 25th at 9:39 AM via elective cesarean section. The surgery went flawlessly, and she is so healthy and pink! She's a small little piglet, weighing only 6 lbs. 14 oz. and measuring 19 and 3/4" long. She is two weeks old tomorrow, and I can easily say she is the baby of my dreams. She never cries, and brings sweet peace and joy with her wherever she goes. She grunts like a pig when she's hungry, and smiles excessively while she sleeps.
I'll be back with a full birth story and more photos sometime soon, but for now I'm too busy enjoying every beautiful little newborn minute with my sweet Penny in this magnificent light filled life.
