Insta Saturday // Week in Review
Some weeks I find I have a much more prominent instagram presence. This past week I think perhaps I was too busy living to record every little thing. Which is good, probably.
- Matt took down the Christmas lights (finally!) and Spring came and stayed (yaaay!)
- The boys had an official Easter egg hunt at my mom's place, and we enjoyed a delicious family dinner there as well.
- We watched the Game of Thrones season premiere with E&J, after they had a picnic with our boys while we cleaned up the house. My loves.
- I finally got around to making some chocolate chia seed pudding, and it was freaking amazing. You can find the recipe here.
- We attended little Aubrey's second birthday party on Friday evening, and I made baked chili cheese dogs (it was a potluck) and brought a tiny batch of cupcakes for a dear friend, too.
- I had another session with my therapist and it rocked my socks off. Can't wait to see her again next week (but you must remind me how much I liked it, or I'll surely forget!)
- Matt and I started watching Daredevil on Netflix, and I didn't have high hopes, but you guys??? It's like so so amazing. Which means a lot coming from me, especially regarding a Marvel show. This ain't no Smallville, here. This is a seriously awesome grown-up high budget show (with Rosario Dawson, I should add. Sheesh. So good. Go binge watch it now.)
- Matt tilled up the back yard and side yards, and we ordered some bushes from Costco which should arrive this week. They're rose bushes that promise to be low maintenance (though we shall have to see on that one.) We also got some more grass seed and fertilizer in the ground.
All in all, this week felt really springy and fresh, filled with new growth and beginnings, new perspectives. Everything is going to be so good, I think. I can feel it, I can feel the positivity in my bones and the renewal and wonderful new changes and beginnings. How's that for optimism?
