Since playing outside has become a non-option (unless I want to spend the evening washing mud out of little boy pants) there has been a lot of indoor playing going on around here. In our hunger for a play structure, we constructed a (safe, I promise!) indoor play system with a big plank and a nearby shelf. It's a bit "ghetto" I'll admit, but was thoroughly enjoyed for hours. Hours people. My boys were pouring sweat by lunch time.

Last night Olvie and I headed into the city to buy (not cheap) gluten free kitchen staples, and went out for supper together. That kid is an absolute delight by himself. Just so sweet and thoughtful, and loves to explore. His new favourite phrase is "Can I get a closer look?" which applied to everything from the frozen lobsters at the grocery store, to the puddles in the parking lots and books in the aisles of Costco. He is so hungry for knowledge and discovery. I hope he keeps that forever.

Meanwhile I think I've got some new health issues to correspond with the already irritating ones, and I don't think I'll be able to see a doctor for a few days so it's cranberry juice by the gallon around here until I can get some antibiotics.

One wonderful thing about today, though, is that I had gluten free toast for breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious. :)
