Snow days

I'm not really an outdoors person. I am, sort of. In the summer I am, and the fall. But I don't own a pair of ski pants, and my "serious" winter boots only cost $20. I am not dedicated enough to the fresh air to go outside in winter, but my boys would love to be outside at all costs. When I'm not feeling up to a jaunt through the snow, a pan full of snow, some towels, and some trucks will suffice. They absolutely love it, especially because they can skip the half-hour putting-on-our-snowsuits step.
