Matt would probably kill me if he knew I posted that photo of him. Which he will know the next time he remembers to check in on my blog. Until then, I hope you enjoy every inch of it because I do. Oliver has taken to wearing his plush snake tied around his waist, so he can pretend he has a tail like a dinosaur. In this photo he is embodying a tyrannosaurus rex (and you mustn't mistake him as a carnotaurus. Two claws means T-Rex, three means carnotaurus. An important distinction.) Matt is such a good dad, and a great dragon/dinosaur on any occasion.

Theodore, being the wild animal that he is, eats his breakfast in all manner of positions, and often it's draped over the top of the table, gazing out the window, this morning at the slew of robins harvesting our back yard. The fact that he ate at all is a wonder, since by all outward appearances he survives on almost no sustenance. I honestly don't know how he isn't walking about as a skeleton. Though I do recall a window like this one when Oliver was the same age, and survived on maple syrup saturated pancakes. You do what you gotta do.

I think I'm going to try and make some chia seed chocolate pudding sometime this week. One of my favourite food blogs just posted a new recipe and it looks divine. I'm always looking for new uses for chia seeds, since I just love everything about them and their weird gel magic. As for today, I think we'll head into Morris for a fun kids Zumba class for Oliver to try out. I'm feeling optimistic, and unbelievably strong today. Like I'm on the other side of something, through it somehow. Like healing is perhaps on the horizon.
