The business of having boys

Nothing brings my boys more joy than making a giant mess out of whatever they can find. It can be hard sometimes for a control freak like me to suppress all OCD tendencies, but I'm trying to remember that they aren't trying to make a mess. They are trying to learn about their world, and create an adventure. The fact that they can find that adventure in the mundane is admirable. By photographing their messes, I'm trying to find beauty in the mundane, too.
