Now I know what you're all thinking.
Where have YOU been?!?
Just file me under worst bloggers of all time. I'll graciously accept that title, I know I deserve it. I've been gone for just about six weeks, folks. And for that I apologize. But Christmas happened to our household, and it pretty much wiped out everything else.
There are about a hundred thousand things I'd love to talk about, but if I play catch-up too much, it'll make me never want to blog again. I mean, let's just be honest here. If every time I get "behind" on blogging I feel like I have to do a full recap of every single detail I missed, I will run screaming in the other direction away from my blog.
And it's my blog, which means I'm pretty much allowed to do whatever I want with it anyway. If I want to post once a YEAR I can, really. Don't worry though, I don't plan on spacing it out that much, but quite frankly life has gotten pretty darn busy these past few weeks. What with Christmas family photo shoots (everyone wants photos in time for their Christmas cards) and gatherings, and preparing for our little one's soon arrival, as well as planning a 2-year-old's birthday party, my head is spinning uncontrollably.
A couple of topics I would like to cover, however, are some big decisions we've made regarding Baby Boy's arrival into this world, Christmas here at the Gilson household, as well as big-time birthday prep happening every which way. I've also got to throw a pregnancy update in there as well, so it's going to be a bit catch-uppish (new word) but I think I can manage it now that I've started my unofficial "maternity leave" from the photography biz' for a bit.
So look out, it's all comin' atcha' in the next couple of days so be prepared for some blog overload, oversharing, inappropriate jokes, and possibly some rushed grammar.
And since no blog post is complete without pictures, here's just an awesome one of my current favourite little man... Because he's wonderful. :)
